The Capriccio method: a scale bridging approach for polymers extended towards inelasticity

In this contribution we present an extension of the multiscale Capriccio method towards inelasticity. This enables coupled simulations a particle domain embedded into continuum with particular focus on polymer systems. Starting from method's initial implementation pure elasticity, substitute nonlinear elastic constitutive law by recently developed viscoelastic-viscoplastic one which is able to capture mechanical behaviour system in much larger strain range. Furthermore, discuss numerical aspects like choice time steps and iteration numbers.
